IBAN Generator Wiki exists to help developers, QA engineers, product teams, educators, and technical writers test international bank-account input without copying customer banking details. The site combines a random IBAN generator, checker, decoder, batch export, country-format directory, and plain-language explanations of what a mathematical result can and cannot prove.
How the Tools Work
Generation, normalization, MOD-97 calculation, checking, decoding, copying, and exports run in the browser. The tools use reviewed country lengths and broad BBAN character patterns derived from the Swift ISO 13616 Registry model. They do not query bank accounts, payment networks, account owners, balances, or bank-directory status.
Evidence and Corrections
Swift's IBAN Registry is our primary format reference. We separate structural and checksum checks from deeper bank-directory or account verification, and we avoid claiming that synthetic values are real or active. If you find an outdated country length, field label, broken tool state, or unclear explanation, contact us so we can review and correct it.

It is not a bank, payment provider, Swift service, financial institution, account-opening service, or identity-verification provider. References to standards and organizations are descriptive and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
